Society 41st Annual Education Conference - May 8, 2010
This year’s Annual Education Conference, the 41st in the Society’s history, titled Lives Disrupted: Contemporary Approaches to the Treatment of Trauma, focuses on the theme of the disruptive impact of various forms of trauma on the lives of people, couples, groups and families.
The conference will be held at The Nightingale-Bamford School Auditorium located at 20 East 92nd Street in Manhattan, on Saturday, May 8, 2010. Sign in will commence at 8:00 AM. The conference will commence at 9:00 AM.
The morning session will have two distinguished keynote speakers, Catherine Lewis, LCSW, and Crayton Rowe, Jr., MSW, LCSW, BCD-P and will end at Noon.
After the lunch break, from 1:45 - 3:45, the registrants will have a choice of one of eight workshops where rich presentations about a variety of traumatic situations and their treatment will be presented by clinical social workers who are experts in those areas.
Five clinical social work CEU credits will be awarded for attending the entire conference.

Pre-Registrations must be received by April 24, 2010. Registrations after that day will be accepted at the door and will cost an additional $10.00.
